Current Scholarship Recipients

Adelyn was born and raised by a deaf-mute couple who were faithful to the Lord and introduced her to the church. She  accepted Jesus as her personal Savior in 2014 and was subsequently baptized. As she grew in the word of God, He provided her the opportunity to experience and be used in different ministries. Presently, Adelyn serves in her church children’s ministry and is learning how to play the viola so that she can serve in her church’s music ministry as well.  Adelyn is passionate about mental health and is pursuing a degree in Psychology so that she can share God’s word with others through teaching, counseling and other therapeutic measures. 

“I want to be a psychology teacher so that with the help of God I may change people’s perspective about the world and the reality of God and His Word.”

Frankcris graduated from Senior High School at Messiah and is currently studying Mass Communications at World Citi College. He was first introduced to church as a child by his grandmother who attended church services, prayer meetings and dawn watch.

Frankcris reached a turning point in his life at the age of 15 when he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. He dedicated his talent to the Lord by joining the music ministry at his church and completing the necessary training to become a song leader. Frankcris continues to serve in the music ministry in his church, virtually or in person. 

“Nothing can stop us from serving our Lord even though many trials are coming into the world. But I won't be afraid because He promised to be with us until the end of the world. 

Billy Joe is a young member of Sitio Militar Christian Baptist Church, Inc. He is a product of the church feeding and literacy program called Jesus Feeds Me, and eventually became one of the volunteers for the children and youth ministries. He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior in 2017 during a youth camp. 

Since elementary, Billy Joe has been a member of the Boy Scouts until high school. He participated in camps and training, and assisted in school activities. These experiences inspired him to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Criminology, as he envisions himself serving the country while serving God.

"I believe in His promises from Jeremiah 29:11, which says, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." God's will be done in my life."
